i think this video is very inspiring. she admitted that yes, she is overweight but she has learned to not care anymore. i love how she says, dont let one bad comment, get to you, when you have hundreds of good things being said.

I think that this news woman is very strong for not taking this critisicm harshly and for handling it in a proffesional way instead of wallowing around in her self pitty and setting a bad example .. in that sense. I love her motto “i am more than a number on a scale” I think that really shows how much she could care less about what that man pointed out. This video is linked to our inquiry project because its a big part of adolescense, how you treat other peoples assessment of yourself. positively/negatively?

  3. Natasha Hillyer says:

I love this video, I have seen it multiple times before and it is wonderful. Everything she says is so true she is such a strong woman and an inspiration. This video has a lot to do with our project because it explains how we treat people can affect our selves.

I think that this video is very inspiring. And i believe that everything that she said in this video is true. This video is also great for this unit that we are doing. Because i think that this video links to our unit adolescence.

Who are these people who send these emails? where do they live; and what made them so incredibly ignorant and bitter. Its sick and twisted to think that people actually go through things like this, and they feel alone. This woman has the public eye on her, so she can gain the support anyone needs to go through something like this; but how many people feel alone, and deal with things to this extent on a daily bases? I just wish there was some way I could reach out to people who are going through this struggle alone, without the support of thousands of viewers.
